Reflow aims to be a leading player in 3D printing materials market, a rapidly growing market, in countries like the Netherlands and India, and become the first global socially responsible 3D printing materials brand. Today we have production set up in Delhi, India, and are setting up production in Amsterdam. We are currently 8 team members, and we’re looking to grow our international team with an Engineering Intern in Amsterdam.

Our ideal candidate loves and understands technology, is socially driven (we’re a social enterprise after all), and who can help our CTO get our technology producing filament in Amsterdam. To do this, we need a mechanical and/or mechatronics engineer with experience in controls who loves to build, run, and perfect machines. Someone who is, above all, bright, a good listener and a maker to his/her core.

What will you do?

The Engineering Intern will work with us 4 to 5 days a week for 3 to 6 months. His/her tasks will be quite varied and may include the following:

  • Programming in Arduino IDE and bug solving
  • PCB Board Design
  • Build, test, and run our plastic extruder
  • Challenging engineering and design projects
  • Regular communication with the engineering team in Delhi.

What are we looking for?

  • A builder at heart
  • Driven by social values
  • Socially aware, friendly and communicative
  • A great technician
  • Creative
  • Love of technology
  • Willingness to listen, learn and teach

What can you expect?

You will be working in an exciting and growing social enterprise. You’ll have the responsibility and opportunity to work on our technology in the Dutch market, of which the extruder is the core part. No two days will be the same!

Some of the perks

  • Challenging technical and hands-on puzzles

  • Working together in an expanding, international team built on trust, openness, and fun
  • Enterprising position with meaningful work
